RSPB were looking for a new system to manage their 'template hub', an online platform accessed by staff to create marketing material from templates. The current system was accessed through their intranet so the ability to sign into the platform through the internet was an essential requirement.
RSPB had recently rebranded with their ' Giving Nature a Home' campaign so consistent, on brand comms material was extremely important in introducing the new brand. As a large organisation with staff all over the UK it was really important that any new system was very easy to use with minimal training so that staff would be engaged and motivated to create material using the platform.
We created the RSPB a set of templates including; leaflets, posters, stationery, compliment slips. Each template has a number of flexible fields made up of text areas, predefined text and image selections. Graphical content including fonts, colours and logos are fixed to ensure the artwork remained on brand and on message.
The templates are accessed via the RSPB intranet using Single Sign On technology - this means RSPB staff can log into their BrandStencil account using their intranet password. This increases staff engagement as they don't need to remember yet another password to access a different system.
As well as the web-2-print templates the platform provides; a resource library for all brand assets including brand guidelines, images, logos and other media, the ability to create users and teams, workflow permissions, help and tiered support and reporting.
Since launch 10,000 materials have been created by over 2,300 people using 30 templates.
The simplicity and performance of the BrandStencil system is what appealed to us the most and we've had nothing but excellent feedback from our users.Joanne Treverton
